We gather to glorify God.

We believe the Gospel changes people. It's really the only thing that can truly bring about change in our lives. Because of Christ's life, death, and resurrection, we have hope, and that hope compels us to worship. When we gather on Sunday morning, we do so because God has brought us from death into life (Ephesians 2:1-10), and He deserves to be glorified through our worship. 

When we gather...

We sing songs of worship.

God has commanded us to worship him through song (Psalm 150). When we sing, our voices join as one in praise to the King of creation, the only one who deserves our praise. We proclaim our adoration through theologically rich songs that are grounded in Scripture. The music we sing is a blending of the timeless hymns written in centuries past and modern worship music that reminds us of God's continued faithfulness in the midst of our ever-changing world.

We hear the Word proclaimed.

The Bible is the foundational document for all that we believe, all that we do, and is the very reason we can have hope in Christ. Because God chose to reveal Himself to us through His word, we can know how we should live, why we don't live as we should, and how we have hope in Christ through His death, burial, and resurrection. Since the Bible is so very important to our faith, we believe that we are commanded to faithfully preach the entire Word of God.

We pray.

When Christ died on the cross, the effects on the world were tremendous. Scripture tells us Christ's finished work has made the only way of salvation for sinners to become children of God (John 1:12; 2 Corinthians 5:21). Because of this, and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8), we may now approach God through prayer. We pray as a church because God has commanded it, because the Bible tells us prayer is powerful (James 5:16), and because we can encourage one another through prayer (James 5:13-15). 

We gather as one community.

As a church in the midst of a diverse community, we desire to reach everyone in our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. When you worship with us, you’ll see people from multiple walks of life, multiple ethnicities, and multiple generations. Because the church is one body made of many different parts (1 Corinthians 12:12-27), we strive to be unified in the Holy Spirit, to celebrate our differences, and enjoy community with one anther across all cultural lines. You’ll see people dressed in everything from suits to shorts, so come as you are!
